    ALT Foundation

The ALT-Foundation started as an idea to create wider access to the BAL course. We also wanted to have a mechanism of peer support, which would allow course alumni to do the journey together.
During the period the Foundation has existed informally, five African professors completed the Creating Course Leaders (CCL). They were the only instructors of the BAL course until additional ones were trained in March 2019, bringing the number of instructors to 21.
